Akhila Babu

Akhila joined the Aditya Birla Group in 2015 through the Human Resource Leadership Program (HRLP) and brings with her over a decade of diverse HR experience. Over the years, she has worked across multiple Group businesses in India and the US, building a strong foundation in the domains of Talent, Learning, Performance, and Engagement. Following her HRLP stints, she began her journey with ABFRL’s Manufacturing unit, where she led OD, Learning, and Engagement. Subsequently she contributed through various roles in Performance, HR Business Partnering and Talent Management. Prior to current role, as Program Director – Gyanodaya, Akhila was responsible for accelerated leadership development programs such as Cutting Edge, Leading Edge, Springboard, and StepUp. Currently, as Portfolio Head – YTM, Akhila plays a pivotal role in shaping the development journeys, foundational experiences, and careers of the ABGLP cadre, thereby strengthening the Group’s future leadership pipeline. Akhila is passionate about leveraging the levers of talent, learning, performance, and engagement to drive both organizational success and individual growth.

Mary E Marbaniang

Lead - Campus Recruitment & Engagement, Campus Competition and Branding

Mary joined the Aditya Birla Group (ABG) in 2018 and moved to the YTM team in 2024, leading Campus Recruitment & Engagement, Campus Competitions and Branding.

A self-motivated and performance-driven HR professional, Mary brings experience in recruitment, strategic project management, and communication design. Her creative intervention strategies significantly enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Mary holds an MA in Industrial Psychology from SNDT University.

Mary lives by the principle of "Service with Significance”. She views service as more than just a means to an end; it's a way of life. By integrating this principle into daily work, Mary strives to create a workplace that nurtures excellence, drives success, and fosters a sense of purpose.

Rashmi Jha

Lead – Year 1, ABGLP & Group Internship Programs (GIP)

Rashmi joined Aditya Birla Group in July, 2023 and manages GIP, and the Learning and Development, Confirmation and Placements for ABGLPs during their Year 1.

She has a prior experience of 4 years in Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR policies and procedure, Performance Management and formulating & implementing strategic HR initiatives. She has completed her MBA in Human Resource Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

Sagnik Basu

Lead – Rewards, Careers & Development, ABGLP Programs

Sagnik joined Aditya Birla Group in November 2024 and manages the career, learning & development and rewards for the ABGLP cohort, post their Year 1 completion.

He has a prior experience of 7 years in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Campus Programs and Employee Wellbeing. He has completed his MBA in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.
